Please do not contact the store for questions regarding your web orders. Our brick and mortar store is a separate division, and will not be able to assist you.

 

Discounts/Coupons/ETC

Discounts and promotions may be different in our physical store than online and vice versa. You cannot stack discounts, unless otherwise stated, by using more than one promotion. Discounts available online are not available in our physical store and those available in that store are not available through our online store. If you have a question about this please feel free to contact us. 

 

Return Policy

The Alley Chicago's Product Satisfaction Guarantee:

We strongly back the products that we sell. Most of our products are manufactured and assembled in house by our talented employees at Mobtown Chicago. If you find that any of the items you receive are defective, or you feel that they are not as described on this site, we will gladly replace or exchange them for you.
To arrange for an return or exchange we ask that you fill out the form below to start the process. Failure to do so could lead to delays in your request.

All merchandise must be returned unused and in its original packaging. If the any of the items you choose to return to us appear to show obvious signs of use, wear and tear, or are in a condition that is not acceptable for resale we will ship them back to you unless otherwise approved by us before you return them. 
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund you for any fees incurred for shipping unless you have been approved for this before you make your shipment. If you receive items that are not what you ordered or are obviously defective we will refund your delivery fee if you choose to send them back to us for an exchange. If you do choose to ship us items we strongly recommend that you properly package your items to avoid any damage due to the delivery process. You may also wish to insure the shipment as we are not liable for replacement if the package is lost in transit. 
If you live locally to our physical brick & mortar store location at 3228 N. Clark St. in Chicago, IL, you may choose to contact us about bringing your return into our store rather than shipping them back to us. If you wish to do this you MUST include this information in the form above to make that request. Our store is not set up to process returns and exchanges through their cash register/POS system that originate from our webstore as these are ran as independent locations. As long as we have spoken to you previously and approved this though we can make it work. Our physical store will only be able to handle exchanges and, unfortunately, will not be able to refund you for any shipping fees or give you money back for your purchases made on our website.
We are unable to process any returns or exchanges for items you have purchased from our physical location through our website. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you but we are simply not set up to handle these transactions.

Price Matching

Regular, sale and clearance prices for products on thealleychicago.com may vary from The Alley stores. We do not match the price of our online merchandise with the prices offered by The Alley stores or any other company, and The Alley stores do not match the price of our online merchandise.

Site Inventory

Our website accesses both our wholesale warehouse and brick and mortar store’s inventory. We also have some items that are shipped directly by the designer or manufacturer. We are unable to access our inventory count in “real time”, so some items may be backordered or delayed. If for some reason we are sold out of an item, or an item is backordered at the time of your order, we will contact you as soon as feasibly possible. Please note: If you do not provide any contact information, we will automatically backorder your purchase. If the item is not available to be shipped within 10 business days, we will refund your purchase in full.

Colors

Please take note that we are not responsible for the way colors of our products appear on your computer!

Shipping

We ship using USPS first class mail depending on the location of the recipient. Orders within the Continental USA, usually ship within 7-10 business days after your payment has cleared. We are not liable for the delays caused by the USPS, so please be aware that there may be times that your order may delayed due to the holidays. Some orders may be shipped USPS priority mail, or UPS depending on the item. International shipments, packages shipped to Military Addresses, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and overseas may take 3-4 weeks after you payment has cleared to arrive, depending on their destination.

International Sales

Unfortunately, we are currently not shipping outside of the US. If you would like to make a purchase from our site please contact us and we may be able to come to work out a way to make it possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Taxes If you reside within the State of Illinois you will be subject to a 9.75% sales tax. No sales tax for purchases shipped outside Illinois.
