I got the jacket and was so impressed. I actually was so excited I wore it the same day, I received so many compliments on the jacket already. I had to run to the mall and pick up a gift from Louis Vuitton and all the reps in the store kept telling me how nice the jacket was. Walking through the mall, stopped in a few other stores and got the same response. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Hopefully they come back in stock soon I want to grab another one for my younger brother as a Christmas gift.
I've wanted this jacket for as long as I can remember, but living in TX it's hard to justify. I finally said Eff'it and ordered it as my 50th Bday present to myself... and I couldn't be happier!
This thing fits like a glove fresh out of the package, so I anticipate it to break in nicely! So far the construction seems solid, all the stitching is well done and no loose parts/threads anywhere. The zippers and snaps are sturdy and no part of this jacket feels cheap.
Pay attention to the sizing chart and always check your own measurements to be sure. (I'm glad I checked!) Also, the fleece torso only liner zips in and out which makes the jacket more viable depending on where you live.
All in all I couldn't be happier with this jacket, and the personalized service from The Alley was great. If I ever buy another leather in my lifetime, it'll be from The Alley Chicago.
